Welcome to the Website of the Bury St Edmunds Wheelchair Basketball Club, home of the Bury Bombers. The club was formed to allow disabled and able-bodied individuals to learn and enjoy the game of wheelchair basketball. The club meets every Thursday evening at 6.30pm and trains at County Upper School in Bury St Edmunds till 9.00pm. There are 35 club members, aged from 6 years old; new disabled players are always welcome.
Training sessions are organised and run by coach Jill Anderson.

This website includes the History of the Club, the Latest News, Contacts and Club Info, a Picture Gallery, details about the Members, information about Wheelchair Basketball and Links to League Clubs around the UK. During the 2009/2010 Season, the Bury Bombers competed in Division 3 Central. They had a fantastic season, and have been promoted to Division 2 South, which they will be competing in 2010/2011.
The Club Diary has been added, which will include information about dates for training sessions, matches and special events.
If you are disabled and interested in joining the Bury Bombers, do not hesitate to make contact (details on the Contacts and Club Info page). The first session is free and subscriptions are then £2.00 for under 13 year olds, £2.50 for over 13 year olds and £3.00 for individuals who are in work.
