03/03/07 - Bombers 16 vs. Force 22
Force are from London and we had beaten them before, but didn’t have the luck in this first match. We lost by 6 points with a final score of 16-22.  The match was a tough one; it was very fast and frantic and we couldn’t use a full court press as Force were faster than us.  Also, our basket shots were not going in as well as normal, so in the end the fact we only lost by 6 points against a much older and faster team showed how well we played.  This can also be shown by the fact that Force had to bring on their strongest team in the 3rd quarter as we dramatically closed the gap by half time.

03/03/07 - Bombers 21 vs. Knights 34
The Northern Ireland Knights are an extremely strong and experienced team that are very good at pressing so we had to make sure that our passing was really accurate in offence.  Sadly it wasn’t, and that was our biggest let down and also something that happened in all three of our matches.  We lost this match by 13 points (although it seemed a lot tighter) with a final score of 21-34.  We played extremely well again considering that they were fast and very strong, and in all honesty they should have beaten us by a higher margin.

03/03/07 - Bombers 13 vs. Jaguars 20
Our final match was against the Jaguars from the Midlands. This was another tight match with us winning the tip off and getting 3 points in the first few seconds from a basket by James, followed by a further point after he was fouled during his shot.  We were leading the match but sadly our luck changed. We were not scoring our basket attempts and the Jaguars put the pressure on with some impressive scoring.  Sadly, Aiden fell backwards out of his chair, hurting his elbow with two minutes to go.  The final score was 20-13 to the Jaguars.

The Bombers will not give up and we will be there at the finals on 28th April to take on all these teams again!
